Common questions

Telehealth, before you begin

Is telehealth private and secure?

Sessions are held through a secure video platform. Judith will explain how to join and how your information is handled before your first appointment.

What device do I need?

A computer or tablet with a camera, microphone, and stable internet connection works best. Choose a quiet, private place where you can speak comfortably.

Is telehealth covered by insurance?

Coverage depends on your plan and service. Raise Your Voice can help check your benefits before your first appointment.

Do I need to live in one of the five states?

For therapy, you must be physically located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, or Vermont during the appointment.

Is online therapy a good fit for every goal?

Many voice and communication goals work well online, but not every need does. A first phone call helps determine whether online or in-person care is the better fit.

A simple first step

See whether online care is right for you.

Not sure about the fit? Talk with Judith about your goals, location, and care options.
