I spent years building my skills in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. Along the way I began developing a niche providing voice therapy in the outpatient setting, and in 2018 I decided to branch out on my own and build a practice around that work.
The rewarding part is the moment something shifts. A client hearing their normal voice again. A trans client hearing a femme voice for the first time. Someone whose cough has gone on for years finding that it can be brought under control with technique rather than medication.
Most people tell me at the start that they have no idea what to expect.
That is completely normal, and it is what the first phone call is for. My work begins with listening. Together we set goals that are useful to you, and build skills that carry into conversations, work, and daily life.
I am passionate about what I do. Every plan is built around the person in front of me, in a space where it feels safe to try things.
Outside the practice, I am also a licensed pilot.
